A Word from the Author
I am excited about this journey and all that is to come for my readers! It is my hope that my first publication “Write to Shine Journal – A Self Discovery Journey for Leadership and Community Service” will bring meaning and inspiration to those engaging in personal writing and exploration of self-driven interest all leading to a positive culture. Along with my experiences as a career educator, I am most inspired by my community development work through youth leadership.
I have learned that youth shine brightly when given opportunities to participate in projects and activities designed to uplift the people and places they encounter. I look forward to connecting with youth that discover the power of their curiosity and creativity to embark on a pathway that will reflect their growth.
Thank you for being a part of this journey. Whether you are a fellow educator, book author, parent, youth practitioner or a young reader, I hope this journal sparks courage, joy, and motivation to make a difference in your own way.
